Thanx. Posted by William Eastman, Tuesday, October 4th, 2011 @ 10:45am Old movie, current theme.
In the 6 years we have been managing lists, yesterdays fiasco was a first. We were unable to stop the process once the original email was sent around 1000. For everyone who responded with a GO, we thank you more than words can express. During this challenging process, we have found the entrepreneurs and business owners serious about the future of their businesses, it's now time to rock.
We will be sending individual emails for the foreseeable future until the email defect is identified and error proofed.
In the meantime - we are continuing work on the Best Practices Study with the next deadline on October 18. The findings will be presented at our UVa Seminar for review and discussion. During this period, we will be sampling the best SWaM's to anchor the current data and map the procurement processes @UVa. The final product will be a process map of procurement matched with the best practices - a how to guide to improve your batting average.
Look for the results of Best Practices 1.0 later this week in the Files section. Posted by William Eastman, Friday, August 5th, 2011 @ 2:08pm Applied Knowledge Laboratories, in Alliance with the University of Virginia's Procurement & Diversity Supplier Services Department and VASCUPP (The Virginia Association of State College and University Purchasing Professionals), announces a 30 day Best Practices Study of SWaM's.
The study will identify the success characteristics of SWaM's (Small Women and Minority owned businesses) for winning contracts, exceeding expectations during delivery, and gaining repeat business. AKLabs will apply it's patented process for rapid construction of accurate and practical business performance models to meet the 30 day window.
AKLabs founder, William Eastman, will present the findings during VASCUPP's Annual Conference. SWaM Fest VII will occur on 14th and 15th of September in Richmond, Va.
Session participants will have the opportunity to audit their businesses using the Best Practices Study to improve the probably of winning contracts.
